Alice Belvedere

In Victoria B.C. [B. Apr. 1 1961 D. Dec. 31 2013] (Alice) Laverne Belvedere nee Johnstone: Grandmother, mother, wife, daughter, genius, baker of pies, lover of animals, swimmer, calming presence, gentle soul. We will miss so many things about Laverne, a woman whose kindness and love can never be surpassed. We are all so blessed to have had her in our lives. Grandchildren, Charlie, who has her eyes, and Alice-Mae, who gets both her name and smile, will forever be reminded of her love for them. Laverne is also survived by her loving husband Ralph, children Matthew (Kyla) and Mark, father Chris and Norm her precious pug, all of whom will miss her immensely. We also wish to thank Dr. Phillip Kelly, the Victoria BC Cancer agency staff, the home care nurses and especially the staff at the Victoria Hospice. They all showed Laverne and I much respect, compassion and love in helping Laverne through all the challenges she faced. Laverne: you are loved. Rest in peace, angel. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Victoria Hospice.
