Alma Flora Lawson

ALMA FLORA LAWSON of Victoria, BC, passed away on Sunday, January 29th, 2017. She was the beloved wife of Edward Campbell Lawson, and mother of Bonnie Lawson (both also deceased). She is survived by her children Edward S. Lawson, Diana Hardwardt, Ernest Lawson, Derrick Lawson and Melanie Taranto. Alma also leaves behind her daughters and sons in laws, Vicki Lawson, Brenda Lawson, Sig Harwardt and Anthony Taranto, as well as her six grandchildren; Ryan and Patrick Harwardt, Cory and Cindle Lawson, Harrison and Nolan Lawson and Kaitlin and Nicholas Taranto. Her brothers Dennis and Ernest Sullivan, and her sister, Mary Halcrow are also deceased but, she is survived by her brother Art Sullivan and sister Coralie Bond. Alma was an incredible woman having worked at many roles in her very full life. She was a wife, mother, sister, daughter and friend, as well as a businesswoman and homemaker. She loved to travel, snow ski, golf and dance. Her utmost favorite was "line dancing" to country music. Something she shared with many of her dear friends. She also enjoyed gardening and made the very best homemade pies! She will be greatly missed.
At Alma's request, the funeral and burial will be a private event for immediate family only. In lieu of flowers, please donate to your favorite charity.
