Angela Vella Fantillo

Angela (Vella) Fantillo (Nonna) 73, Born in Campo di Giove, LAquila, Italy Sept. 20, 1940 - April 19, 2014 Victoria, B.C.
After a long battle with heart disease, Angela was taken from us suddenly on April 19 in Victoria B.C. Under the guidance of her Zio Silverio & Zia Lina Angela immigrated to Canada from Italy on a long journey by boat and train to Victoria B.C. in the spring of 1963 to meet her future husband Francesco. As they had only corresponded by photos prior, when they finally met it was love at first sight' and were married that summer. Frank and Angela had three children and enjoyed a wonderful family life. In 1986 after 23 years of marriage Angela lost the love of her life, Francesco, to cancer. Dedicated to her family she passed on her incredible work ethic, compassion and the importance of family. She fell asleep in death with the Bibles hope of a resurrection to life as quoted from Revelation 21 vs 4 where God promises He will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. Angela is survived by her 3 children Pasquale, Lorenzo (Carol) and Maria (Doug), Grandchildren Franco, Marcello, Noah, Dominic, Anthony, Jorja and Breelyn. She will be missed greatly.
