Barbara Kemp

Kemp, Barbara Claire, 82, passed away peacefully at the Victoria Hospice, on Friday, July 27th, after a brief illness. Daughter of David and Lillian Shedden, Claire is predeceased by her father, mother, older brother Ken and husband Jim. Claire is survived by her only daughter, Leslie. Claire was born in Calgary in 1930 and retired to Victoria in 1996. She was a long time member and past worthy matron of the O.E.S. No service at the request of the family. Donations in lieu of flowers to the Victoria Hospice Society would be appreciated. Interment will be held at Queen's Park Cemetery in Calgary. The family would like to thank the staff of the Victoria Hospice for the loving care, kindness, and support throughout the last days of Claire's life.
