Ben Donkin

After a very lengthy illness we are saddened to announce that Ben passed away on Saturday, October 19, 2019 in the hospice unit at Victoria Jubilee Hospital in, Victoria, BC.
Ben was predeceased by his brother Richard Donkin in 1970, his father Allen Donkin on October 24, 2009 and his mother Vera Donkin (nee Rennie) on February 12, 2011.
Ben was an avid reader and loved quirky collectibles. He was also a huge music lover and held a large collection of albums. He was quite the hobbyist, putting together many historical dioramas, car models and keeping tropical house plants and fresh and salt water fish tanks. He also enjoyed being on his motorcycle.
Ben leaves to mourn his passing a much beloved daughter, Chelsea Stein and son-in-law Scott Cowie as well as two grandchildren, Caitlyn 7 and Connor 4, all in Vancouver, BC.
