Bonny Louisa Babisky, age 40, of Esquimalt, BC passed away on December 25th, 2020 in Victoria, BC. Cremation will take place in Victoria. A memorial service will be held in Calgary, Alberta, when public health conditions allow. Immediate family and closest friends will soon be invited to attend the burial, near Tofino, BC. Bonny was born in Vancouver, to Raymond Francis Martineau and Olga Agnes Babisky, on August 28, 1980, and grew up in Alberta. Later on, adventure, work and school brought her to Radium, Lake Louise, Banff, Tofino, and Whistler, Bc. She lived in and adored Australia, and travelled through Hawaii and Costa Rica. Bonny loved her family, friends, travel, cooking, music, and anything which delighted the senses. Bonny is survived by her husband Matthew Scott of Esquimalt, BC; brother Jason Babisky, of Edmonton, AB and her sister Stacey Hill of Sidney, BC. She had a special relationship with cousins Kelly Rose and Dan Rose of Calgary, AB, cousins Lori Cuthbert, Rob Schille and Marco Babisky of Edmonton, AB and uncle Ron Cuthbert of Cold Lake AB. Bonny is also survived by her large extended family and by devoted friends around the world. Bonny is preceded in death by her beloved Kokum Louise Martel, and aunts Mickey (Marguerite) Cuthbert and Gin (Virginia) Whittle. She shared a special bond with all three. Bonny is preceded in death by her parents, Olga Babisky and Raymond Martineau. Bonny spread generosity, compassion and laughter to everyone she met.
