Christopher Henry Ash

Christopher Henry Ash, 59, died Sept 09, 2021, at home in Victoria, BC. Chris was born April 16, 1962, in St. John's, Newfoundland, to Henry and June (Bursey) Ash. He attended Queen Elizabeth High School in Foxtrap, CBS. He continued his education at MUN in St. John's, NL, graduating in 1983 with a Bachelor degree in Science and then continuing his education to receive his Masters in Geology. Subsequently, while living in Victoria, he earned his P.Geo. Chris loved his time in the wilderness hunting and fishing and living his passion of searching for Gold. Chris was preceded in death by his father and mother. But he is survived by his sister Joy (spouse Eric Hart), brother Perry (fiancé Gillian Mersereau), several wonderful nieces and nephews; and special friend, Brenda Hewitt of Victoria. Cremation has taken place. A service to scatter Chris's ashes in Kelligrews, NL will be arranged at a later date.
