Darryl Leigh Schultz

"Stop. Take a breath. Soak in some life around you." This is what Darryl Schultz would tell you if you could see him in heaven resting now in the arms of Jesus. Darryl's journey on earth began Sept 17, 1966 in Calgary AB and ended peacefully at his home in Victoria on Sept 13, 2015 surrounded by the love and care of those closest to him: his wife and soul mate, Maureen Washington and all their children; Marissa, Bethany (Karl-Erik Sonvisen) Emily, Josiah and Elijah. The spirit of Darryl, and the things learned about life and love, especially during his 7-year battle with cancer, will live on in all who had the privilege of doing life with him: Maureen and their children, his brother Cory Schultz (Wendy) and Jeff Oracheski (Tasha) as well as numerous other family members and countless friends. A funeral of the celebration of the life of Darryl will be held Wednesday, Sept 23 2015 at 4:00 PM at North Doug Church 675 Jolly Pl, Victoria, BC V8Z 6R9. Dinner reception to follow immediately at North Doug.
