With heavy hearts and profound sadness, we announce the passing of Deboroah Louise Gallant, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, on January 18, 2025. Born on February 29, 1952, Deboroah’s leap-year birthday was a reflection of her unique and extraordinary spirit—a soul who made the most of every moment and left a mark of kindness, wisdom, and love on all who knew her.

Deboroah was the cherished mother of Jason (Maddison, Amilee, Liam), Tonya (Atlanta, Brandon, Colton), Jordan, and Dylan (Tiffany) (Jacob, Isabella, Casper, Blake, Adjo, Heidi), whose lives are forever enriched by her unwavering love, guidance, and support. She was the proud grandmother of 12 adoring grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. They will remember her as a doting “Grandma” who never missed a chance to celebrate their achievements, comfort their worries, or share her famous stories and warm embraces.

She was a devoted sister to 4 sisters (Barbara, Sandra, Jennifer and Penelope) and 2 brothers (Garry, Patrick), a lifelong confidant and partner in mischief and joy. Together, they created a tapestry of memories filled with laughter and love that will endure in Deboroah's heart.

Deboroah lived her life with a quiet strength, a quick wit, and a boundless capacity to nurture those around her. She found joy in simple pleasures. Her heart and home were always open, welcoming all with a comforting smile and a listening ear.

It was Deboroah’s heartfelt wish to be laid to rest with her great-grandmother in Hatley, a place she held dear. Her love for her family’s roots and traditions will be honored as she is reunited with generations past, in eternal peace beneath the gentle embrace of the Hatley skies.

Deboroah’s legacy is one of unconditional love, resilience, and grace. Her family will carry forward her lessons, her kindness, and her light. Though she has left this earthly life, her spirit remains with us—in every shared laugh, every family gathering, and every gentle breeze that seems to whisper her name.
