Denis Nolin

After a lengthy illness Denis passed away Thursday, March 13, 2014 in the loving company of his wife, Sheri, sons Nicholas and Benjamin and sister Eveline. Denis was born in Victoria where he attended St. Louis College and Victoria High School excelling in track and field setting provincial records in the 100 yard dash. After a period of adventurous travel in Europe and North Africa Denis attended University of Victoria, graduated with an Arts and Science degree. He worked in a variety of positions for BC Hydro, retiring in 2009 after 37 years. In his final years Denis enjoyed travelling with his wife Sheri, working out at the gym with his buddies and staying in touch with his long time James Bay friends. Den also took great pleasure in his motorcycle and rode every chance he got. In addition to his wife Sheri, sons Nicholas, Benjamin (Natasha); sister Eveline (Glen), Den was dearly loved by his nieces, nephew and step-family. He will always remain deeply loved and will be sadly missed. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, April 5th at 2:00 p.m. at the First Memorial Chapel (4725 Falaise Drive), all are welcome.
