Diana Joan Kennedy

KENNEDY, Diana Joan (née Bishop), December 21, 1936 - January 1, 2016. Passed away after her long goodbye with Alzheimer's. She was pre-deceased by her husband, Bruce of 54 years in May of 2014. She will be lovingly remembered by her children Karen (Kevin) and Warren and her three granddaughters, Kiah, Tamara and Katie. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Monday, January 11 at 12 Noon at St. Andrew's Cathedral, 740 View Street, Victoria.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer Society of BC or the charity of your choice. Special thanks to Kerry who for the last two years visited with mom regularly and made sure she continued to take part in the activities of the community.
Thank you to the staff at Kiwanis Pavilion and the Gorge Road Hospital for their kind attention and care for mom in the last five years. Also, thank you to Dr. Buie for his many years of care and to Dr. Abbot for her compassionate care of mom in the last few days.
