Diane Buckett

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Diane Buckett (Harris,) born on February 1, 1944 in Winchester, U.K. and passed away on June 2, 2023 in Victoria, B.C. Canada.

Diane was a beloved mother, daughter, sister, friend, and partner. Diane was a life time friend and partner to Colin Buckett, a loving mother to her daughter Kyla (Marc) Buckett, and a devoted grandmother to her two grandchildren Liam and Owen. Cherished daughter to her parents Eileen and Leonard Harris, and a loving sister to her siblings Yvonne, Roger, Judy, and Linda.

Diane immigrated to Canada in 1968 from England, a gifted artist who specialized in metal work, creating beautiful and unique jewelry. She was an avid lover of the outdoors, and enjoyed walking, gardening, and spending time in nature. Diane was a generous and compassionate person, with a witty sense of humor. She touched so many lives with her kind and gentle spirit.

A private family gathering will take place in her honour. We thank all of her close family and friends for their love and support during this difficult time.

Diane will be deeply missed by all who knew her. May her spirit live on in the hearts of those who loved her.
