Diane Joyce Mcgillivray

Diane Joyce McGillivray slipped peacefully away on December 10, 2015, at Victoria Hospice, with family by her side.
Diane was a proud and independent woman, who had felt honored to be a member of the nursing profession and was dedicated to her career as an emergency room nurse. That career fostered friendships that lasted her lifetime. Those friends were with Diane through her diagnosis of pancreatic cancer, her treatment, and her final days. Diane's family is, and will always be, grateful to all of Diane's "Victoria family", with a special thought for Geri, Diane's dearest friend. The family would like to thank the staff and volunteers at Victoria Hospice, with a special thank you to Angela, Beth, Cathy, and Dr. Jodi Anderson, for their care, compassion, and gentleness. We also thank Earth's Option for handling the final arrangements. Diane loved her family and friends, and we all loved her. She will always be remembered and missed.
