Diane Gertrude Saunders

Mom passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with Lung Cancer in the Jubilee Hospital on April 23, 2015. She leaves behind her daughter Ann (Rick), Son Don, granddaughter Robyn (Wes) and her beautiful cat Shady. Mom was born and raised in Victoria. She loved family life, friends, walking on beaches, camping, shopping, travelling and spending time with her cat. Mom worked for the B C Government and retired Oct 1998. Mom lived life to the fullest. She touched even more people by just being the thoughtful, compassionate, intelligent and happy person that she was. We were so proud of our Mother and miss her very much. The family would like to express how grateful we are for the fantastic care she received from the staff of Royal bile hospital. (4th floor). Our Mother's warmth and sparkle will be sadly missed by all that loved her. A Celebration of Life will be held on May 9, 2015 1-3 pm at the Trafalgar / Pro Patria, branch #292, 411 Gorge Road East. In Lieu of flowers, a donation in Diane's name to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
