Dolores Miles

Dolores passed with a smile on her face, holding hands with 2 of her 4 sons in the Palliative Care Unit at Saanich Peninsula Hospital. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Bob, sons Michael (Almudana), Bradley, Patrick and Stephen; granddaughters Iraina, Megan, Savannah and Sage; as well as numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. RCMP postings with Bob took her across Canada. Sailing on Tsein Hau (Goddess of the Sea) to many anchorages in the Gulf Islands, Desolation Sound and Quatsino Sound. She shared food with fishing fleet deck hands, First Nations families and other sailors. No service at her request. In lieu of flowers she would ask that donations be made to your local food bank or a charity of your choice.
