Dora Frances Brennan

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Dora Frances Brennan, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and friend. Dora was born on February 19, 1955 in Gander, Newfoundland and passed away on August 22, 2023 in Victoria, British Columbia.

Dora was a bright light in the lives of all who knew her. She was witty and had a beautiful, contagious laugh. Quality time with family and friends was a top priority for her, and she loved to take long walks around local parks. She could turn any stranger into a friend within minutes, and was selfless to a fault. Dancing to classic rock songs was a great joy to her.

Dora was a beloved wife to Mark, mother to Jessica (Sebastien), Sean, and Rachel (Damon), and grandmother to Bennett and Elouise. She was also a loving daughter to Helen (Walter), and sister to Rosylan (Ken), Lucheia (George), and Tammy. She was predeceased by her father Francis.

Dora will be remembered for her kind and generous spirit, her love of life, and her dedication to her family. Her presence brought joy to all who knew her and she will be greatly missed.

Dora's Celebration of Life will be held on September 25, 2023 at 2:00pm the Olympic View Golf Club and Table Nineteen Restaurant, 643 Latoria Road, Victoria, BC, V9C 3A3. Please wear your preferred funeral attire. Food and coffee/tea will be provided. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity of your choosing. Alternatively, a blood donation can be made to a local blood bank.
