Dora Verhagen

Verhagen, Dora Dora lost her courageous battle with cancer on Friday, May 11 2012. Born in Victoria on September 23 1960, she is survived by her son Darcy Raybone, her mother Dora Verhagen, brothers and sisters, Gerry(Connie), John(Fay), Tony, Jim(Diana), Mary(Harold), Paul(Lisa) and Paula. Dora was a much-loved Auntie to 20 nieces and nephews and 17 great-nephews and nieces. Left behind to celebrate her memory are many friends(especially Carol) and coworkers who showed incredible support and caring over the past few months. Dora was predeceased by her father James Verhagen, and brother Peter Verhagen. The family would like to extend special thanks to Dr. J.P.McGhie, Dr.M.D.Kolodziejcyk , all the staff at the Jubilee Hospital, Beacon Community Care staff, and especially the staff at the Victoria Hospice. A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday May 22nd at 2:00 at The Royal Oak Burial Park .In lieu of flowers, donations to The Victoria Hospice would be appreciated.
