Dorothy Hope Airth

Words cannot express how much dear Dot was loved by her family, friends, and anyone with whom she came into contact. She was looking forward to the final journey and being reunited with her family and friends who pre-deceased her. Her loss is particularly felt by her friend  and companion for 40 years, Wenda,  who is eternally grateful for the wonderful care Dot received from the VIHA nurses  and Beacon staff who regularly attended to her.  Her final weeks were spent in the loving care of the staff of the Victoria Hospice where she was respected and treated so tenderly   with much dignity.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Highway Christian Fellowship, 10364 Mcdonald Park Road., Sidney on Saturday, March 10 at 2 p.m. with refreshments to follow.  In lieu of flowers,  donations will be gratefully received by Mount Newton Centre Society, who loaned us so much equipment during Dot's  illness
