To quote Derek: She had a hell of a run. She lived a rich life full of adventure, culture and friends and family who loved her dearly. She was the Matriarch and core of the family and was usually the reason for family get-togethers and special occasions. Right up to her last days she was doing her NYT crossword puzzles and watching Jeopardy like she had done her whole life. She wasn't the typical grandmother -- she didn't bake cookies or pies or even cook anything at all really and at one point she and my grandfather owned an extensive collection of microwave cookbooks! LOL But she loved deeply and was always the smartest person in the room. Rest in peace Grandor, I'll love you forever.
