Duncan MacGregor Stewart

Duncan MacGregor Stewart, age 77, died on Saturday August 22nd at his home in Victoria, BC.

Born to parents Duncan and Janet on April 18, 1949 in Edinburgh, Scotland. Brother to Janet, loving husband to Sheryl and proud father of Alistair and James.

Duncan loved music from an early age, pouring that passion into his roles as a talented lead guitarist, and sound and light engineer. He helped countless patients, students, and friends as a psychologist, healer, medical researcher, and expert in conflict resolution. He lived life on his own terms, and fought passionately for the causes that he believed in. He was a voice of reason and steadfast supporter in times of trouble, and a loving father and husband whose guidance will be sorely missed, but never forgotten.

At Duncan’s request, a small memorial service was held for his immediate family.
