Edward David 'Ed' Miller

Ed Miller, 58, of Victoria, British Columbia, succumbed to cancer at Victoria Hospice surrounded by his family on January 22nd, 2017, at 5:38 pm. Born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, to Fay Miller and Morris Miller; he lived most of his life in Edmonton, Alberta. Ed is survived by his wife Melanie of 4 years, daughter Kelsey Miller, and son Josh Miller. Ed was a loving father, husband, and friend to all. Ed was respected and valued from many civilians in the community and his many friends who cherished him. Ed was a very strong willed, generous, man who enjoyed automotive. He created his own towing company, Custom Auto Carriers, at 29 years old in Edmonton, Alberta. He enjoyed working and only retired a few years prior to his passing, due to his illness. He loved to take his boat out on the water and go fishing. Ed will always be remembered by his sense of humor and stubborn attitude. Ed always stood behind what he believed in and inspired many.
A special thank you to Victoria Hospice for the support and care given to Ed and the family. Also thank you to Earth's Option for all arrangements. Private family services were held and at his request, there will be no funeral service. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the BC Cancer Agency.
