Elisabeth Leenders Ross

It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Elisabeth at 85 yrs. She was born in the Netherlands and came to Canada as a war bride in 1946. She leaves to mourn her loss her sons, Bob (Thea McDougall) Arial, Riik (Christine) Arial, and daughter, Ginny (Ken Gabrielson) Slater as well as 14 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, and 2 great, great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother Johan (Janny), sister Henny and numerous nieces and nephews in the Netherlands. Elisabeth was predeceased by her brother Frans and her sister Tosca in Holland. Elisabeth was a sweet, kind lady who was loved by all that met her. She will be dearly missed by everyone. A private family cremation will be held. We would like to give special thanks to the staff and volunteers at The Priory in Victoria.
