Elizabeth Amy Caulton

Born September 7, 1931 in Leeds, Yorkshire UK, passed away peacefully on July 11, 2016 at the age of 84 years. She is survived by her loving husband Joe VanStekelenburg, Sister Sheila, nephew Peter (Tracy) and their children Sebastian and Annelies and niece Annemarie (Mark) and their children Sonia and Monica. Elizabeth had a passion for teaching and loved children, so it was natural that she became a schoolteacher while living in the UK. She moved to Houston BC in 1964, then to Australia in the 70's, teaching in the area of early childhood. She moved back to BC and continued teaching. She retired in the 80's and moved to Victoria in 1997. Amongst her many talents she had a visual arts interest and joined the Federation of Canadian Artists, the Victoria Sketch Club and the Oak Bay Art Group. She obtained several awards in juried art shows. We would like to thank the staff at the Kiwanis Pavilion for their excellent care. There will be no service or celebration of life.
