Betty Roberts

It is with great sadness that I inform you of Betty's passing by means of MAiD at 10am Saturday, September 21 in the Victoria Jubilee hospital. Her Son, Son in law and best friend were at her side. She had a very drastic downturn in her cancer situation starting September 3rd and had been in hospital since September 14th. She passed smiling while listening to her chosen song "Poems, Prayers and Promises" By John Denver. There are no plans for any sort of memorial yet. She did not indicate she wanted one.

Betty was a unit clerk at Chilliwack General Hospital for many years and was known for her attention to detail. She and her late husband Graham were avid sailors on the coast of BC and South.

Betty and Graham called 23 places "home" including 3 boats. Betty moved twice after Graham's death in 2009 finally settling in James Bay area of Victoria.

Betty loved cooking, dining, friends, family and wine.
