Ellen Mary Jennrich

Ellen was born in Toronto on July 4, 1927 and lived in Ontario most of her life. When she retired, she moved to the West Coast and lived the last 20 years in Victoria, BC. Ellen loved the city and being close to the ocean. She was always excited to see a soaring bald eagle or the flash of colour when a small hummingbird visited her feeder. In her stronger years, she walked miles along country roads to support her favourite farm markets. Ellen passed away peacefully on November 6, 2013 after a brief illness. She would want to acknowledge and thank all who contributed to her life in Victoria--the many kind service providers and merchants she came to know, the warm and caring folks in her apartment building, her health care support and the staff at Royal Jubilee Hospital. Respecting her wishes, there will not be a memorial service.
