Emily Gabriela Maya

September 13, 1994 – March 30, 2025

It is with the deepest sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved daughter Emily who left our world suddenly and unexpectedly on March 30, 2025, in Victoria. Emily was a bright light to everyone who knew her. She was a compassionate and vibrant soul whose love for animals-especially birds, reflected the kindness and wonder she carried throughout her short life. She had a generous heart and infectious laugh that would light up the room. Her curious and adventurous spirit led her to travel and live abroad in Australia where she met many wonderful friends. She is deeply missed by her parents Melanie and Gabriel, her stepfather Raymond and younger brother Nico, along with countless friends and extended family who adored her. Though her time with us was brief, the depth of love and happiness she shared will forever remain in our hearts.

Prayer Service and viewing on Friday April 11 at 5pm: Funeral Mass and celebration of life will be held on Saturday April 12 at 11am at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Sidney.
