WEBSTER, Ernest (Ernie) James

Ernie passed away on Sept 8th 2022 at 84 years of age. He leaves behind his wife Sheelagh, daughter Shawna (Dylan), and three grandsons, Marlen (Char), Avery, Gavin and his great grand-dog Ricky. He also leaves his brother Larry, his sister Hazel as well as nieces and nephews in BC, Alberta and Ontario.

He was predeceased by his brothers Harry, Pete, Joe, John and his sister Viola.

Ernie was born in Blue Ridge, Alberta to David Webster and Christine Paintedstone. He moved to the Vancouver area then settled in Victoria, BC. Ernie enjoyed sharing in First Nations cultural activities, telling legends and working with the students in the Sooke School District until his retirement in 2000. He also enjoyed golfing, country music, and art.

We would like to thank the staff of Saanich Peninsula Long Term Care for the excellent and compassionate care they provided Ernie during the past three months.
