Esme passed away peacefully in her 93nd year, after a brief illness, at Beckley Farm Lodge in Victoria, B.C. She was predeceased by her husband Leslie, fianc Ted, and very special friend Stan. Esme was born in Innisfail, Alberta, where she was raised by her parents, Ted and Florence. She was a long term resident of North Vancouver, Surrey, and Langley before moving to Victoria to be closer to her daughters. She will be sadly missed by her daughters, Sherri (Julian) and Lesley, grandchildren, Matt (Liliana), Jason (Tea), Corey (Jodi), Kristan (Brian), Jocelyne, and Joel, five great grandchildren, and her many friends. Esme will be best remembered for her love of family, strong friendships, unfailing strength in the face of diversity, and unconditional positive outlook on life. She was happiest creating delights at the sewing machine or in the kitchen, turning a house into a home, welcoming everyone into conversation, and exploring new places in the little motorhome. The family wishes to extend their many thanks to the compassionate staff at Beckley Farm Lodge, Langley Lodge, and Langley Seniors Village who offered their care and support to Esme. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Multiple Sclerosis Society will be greatfully accepted in Esmes name.
