Frances Watts Beresford

BERESFORD, Frances Mary (ne Watts) died suddenly in Victoria on June 20, 2014. Frances is survived by her husband of 68 years, Donald, sons John (Deirdre) and Chris (Charley), brother John Watts, and grandchildren James and Bryony. After growing up in Alberta, Frances served in the Air Force during WW2 before raising her family in Ottawa, Montreal, Vancouver, Penticton, Calgary and Toronto. Frances had a successful career as an Avon representative, and working for Imperial Oil, before a long and happy retired life in Victoria. She travelled around the world and followed her passions of spinning and weaving and bead artwork at home. Thanksgiving for the life and witness of Frances will be held within the 8:30am Communion Service at The Church of the Advent, 510 Mount View Avenue, Colwood on Sunday, June 29. A celebration of Frances life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in Frances memory may be made to the Victoria SPCA by clicking on tab above.
