Obituary of Frank (Mitch) Douglas Mitchell

July 20, 1969 – December 28, 2022

It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Frank (Mitch) Douglas Mitchell on Wednesday, December 28, 2022.

Mitch was born in Bracebridge, Ontario and raised in Calgary, Alberta. Growing up he loved comic books, Star Wars, and spending time outdoors, especially in the summer at Pine Lake camping with his family. After graduating from high school and trying his hand at hairdressing, Mitch headed to the West Coast and found his forever home in Victoria, BC. Mitch not only loved the weather and people in Victoria, but also his job with HL Disposal & Lawn Service that allowed him to partake in one of his favorite activities, treasure hunting. Mitch’s sense of humor and charm made him popular with those he came in contact with, and he will be missed.

Mitch will be lovingly remembered by his daughter Alexandria; sons Devon and Eli; sister Melinda; brother Tyler; father Frank (Carol); grandfather Doug; and extended family and friends. Mitch was a proud uncle to James and Matthew. Mitch is predeceased by his mother Brenda; brother Scott; step-father Barney and his grandmothers Louise, Evelyn and Marion.
