In loving memory of Frank Walter Ross who passed away from lung cancer on April 1, 2013, with his family by his side. Frank was born in Poverty Bay, Ontario and moved to Victoria, BC in 1964 where he worked at the Esquimalt Dockyard as a boat builder, enjoyed golf, bridge and gardening, and raised his family. He built three family homes in his lifetime and helped many others build theirs. He was an accomplished cabinet and furniture maker and the gifts he made will be cherished by many. His kindness and sense of humour will be missed by family and friends. He is survived by his children Alaura (Michael), Joy, Terry and Connie; their mother Alma (nee Brennan); his grandchildren, Cinnamon, Chad and Dylan; and his siblings Don, Helena 'Peggy' Bishop, Richard 'Spike', Lavina 'Lee' Hargis, and Ron 'Bud'. He was predeceased by his parents Amos and Christina (nee Courvoisier), and siblings Archibald 'Archie'; Mabel, Charles 'Chuck' and Julie Paynter. A celebration of life will be held at Metchosin Golf and Country Club, 4100 Metchosin Road on Saturday, April 13, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. Love you tons, Dad. Thanks for the love and laughter.
