Frederick James Parkes

Frederick Parkes, 94, of Victoria, passed away on September 11, 2016 in Victoria at Royal Jubilee Hospital. Family, friends and neighbors may attend his home for a small Celebration of his life that will be held at the family home on September 17th from 3: PM to 5: PM - light refreshments will be provided.
Fred was born in North York TWP now Toronto Ontario to Grace & Joseph Parkes on August 03 1922. He went to school at Toronto. He married Eileen Parkes (nee Downey) on March 28 1947 in Aurora Ontario. He was a veteran of WW2 and served with the 11th Ontario Armored Regiment known as the "Black Cats" of which he was very proud.
Fred is preceded in death by his wife Eileen and siblings Winnie, Annie, Marg, Len, Joe, and Charles. Fred is survived by his Children, Laurence, Stephen, David, and Deborah, Terrence and their children & grandchildren.
