George “ Don “ Hickey of Pender Island passed away Sunday December 10 at the age of 97. He spent a very happy 10 years on Pender before health issues made it necessary to move to Oak Bay Lodge and finally the Summit in Victoria. Don was a sweet, kind man that will be missed by family and friends. But he is finally reunited with the true love of his life!
