George Moore

George passed away peacefully at Victoria Hospice Tuesday December 18, 2018.
He leaves to mourn his wife Marilyn, son Ken (Sylvie), daughter Shannan (Chris), beloved grandchildren Devan, Daniel (their mom Nina), and Shelby. He also leaves behind family in Northern Ireland.
George was born in Glebe, Londonderry, Northern Ireland and immigrated to Canada in 1955 settling in Victoria, B.C.  He worked at the Oak Bay Boat House prior to becoming a minority partner in the Oak Bay Marine Group for over 40 years.
A keen and avid fisherman, his largest fish, a 52lb Chinook caught in Hakai Pass, B.C.
