Gerald King

Gerald King February 10, 1931 - June 8, 2019
It is with great sadness that the family of Gerry King announces his passing on June 8, 2019 at the age of 88.
Gerry was born in Watford, England and immigrated to Canada in 1954.  He had a career he loved with the CBC as a Production Sound Mixer and won many awards for his work.  His love of travel took Gerry all around the world during his career.  When he retired he kept up with his travelling and his other passion sailing.  In his early 80's he decided to hang up his captains hat and he settled in Victoria, BC to be near his son David.  He enjoyed a full life in Victoria with new and old friends playing bridge and having weekly lunches.
Gerry will be lovingly remembered by his children Debbie(Ernie) and David(Alina) and his grandson Michael.  He was predeceased by his son Steven.
There will be a celebration of Gerry's life at 2pm on June 15th at the home of good friends James and Virginia, 1329 Denman Street.  In the heart of Fernwood.
