Geraldine Ruth 'Nee Silver' Macdougall

MACDOUGALL, Geraldine Ruth July 06, 1929 - 25 Jun 2015 Geraldine (Gerry) Mac Dougall passed away suddenly at Victoria General Hospital. Gerry was a long time resident at the Arbutus Ridge Golf Community. She and her husband John (pre-deceased in 2004) moved there from Vancouver in 1993. Though neither of them golfed, they thoroughly enjoyed the amenities and people in that community. Gerry had a long and happy career with the CIBC prior to moving there. She still has regular contact with a lot of those previous fellow workers and friends. When she arrived here, she remained active by volunteering at the Tourism BC office in Mill Bay for a few years and she also had a passion for quilting until her final days. She is survived by: her son Ron (his wife Danielle) of Cobble Hill, BC, son Darrell (wife Rita) of Spruce Grove, Alta, daughter Barbara (husband Bill Draper) of Sherwood Park, Alta, and Catherine (husband Mitch Beauchman) of Winnipeg, Manitoba. There are eight grandchildren and nine grandchildren. There will be a private Family Internment at the Royal Oak Burial Park, Victoria, BC, on 06 Jul 2015.
