It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Glenn Eric Vickers on Monday October 13th at the Victoria Hospice, Victoria B.C. Glenn was born in Hamilton Ontario on August 20th 1954. He is survived by his wife of 29 years Kay, his sons Scott and Cameron, brother Allan & Gary, and sisters Joanne & Jane. Glenn was very passionate about the business he created in 1991. Helping his clients prosper has always been his priority. His other passion was fishing, going out and bringing back fish for the family brought him great pride and he always felt at home on the water. Glenn got his private pilots licence in Brampton Ontario and once flew over the Grand Canyon while vacationing in Vegas. When the children were younger camping was a regular occurrence always staring on the May long week-end and ending September long week-end. Many times travelling to the main land to watch his sons baseball tournaments which he thoroughly enjoyed. After dabbling in flying and golfing Glenn found his real passion fishing, he was never happier than when he was spending many hours on the ocean with family or friends trying to catch the big one. Glenns last wish was to have his ashes scattered at sea so he can continue to follow the tide around the world, we will honour his request come spring in a small ceromony on his favourite fishing ground. There will be a Celebration of Life on Friday, November 14th from 6pm till 8pm at the Royal Canadian Legion #91 on Station Rd. in Langford . In lieu of flowers, donations gratefully accepted to the Victoria Hospice by clicking above.
