Gordon Alexander Tufford

Gordon Alexander Tufford set sail on his last voyage on Nov 29, 2016, after a courageous battle with cancer. Gordon was born in St. Thomas Ontario and moved to Portage la prairie. He joined the Navy at age 18, and traveled the world for 28 years. He retired and enjoyed 15 years working with JAG. He resided in Victoria where he enjoyed golf, curling and RVing. One of his proudest accomplishments is his 4 hole in one's at Gorge Vale Golf Course. He loved ocean walking with his dogs. He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years Charlene Tufford, his brothers Brian and Ken and his three children Terry (Brenda), Charlotte (Gary) and Christine (Steve), and his three grandchildren Brittany, Dylan, and Nicholas. He is predeceased by his brother Douglas, mother Matilda, and father Lawrence. A celebration of life will occur at the Gorge Vale golf club January 27, 2017 from 2-4pm.
