Hanna Maggiora

January 18, 1928 - December 07, 2023

Hanna passed away peacefully at Saanich Peninsula Hospital ECUI just a few weeks short of her ninety-sixth birthday. She was predeceased by ger husband Louis (2019), niece Carole and great-nephew James.

Hanna is survived by her son Pete (Kathy), daughter Cathy, granddaughter Heather (Nolan), great-granddaughter Henley, niece Janet, nephew Richard, great-nieces Jamie, Alison, and Janine.

Hanna graduated from St. Joseph’s school of nursing in 1950 and began a career she loved. She married and took time off to raise her children but later went back to nursing including at SPH ECU. She was a natural caregiver and took great satisfaction in helping others.

The family would like to thank the healthcare professionals who looked after Hanna, especially the wonderful staff at SPH ECUI.

Hanna wished to have a tea for family and friends. We hope to honour this in the coming year.
