Harold Douglas Combs

Harold passed peacefully at Victoria Hospice after an extended battle with cancer. Predeceased by father Gordon Donald Combs, mother Mary Combs and nephew Donald Diemert. Survived by sister Dorothy Williams (Jack). Brother William Edward Combs (Marlene). Nieces Shannon, Jackie and Valerie. Nephews Ian and Darrell. Harold was born and raised in Meskanaw Saskatchwan. He worked for many years as a hair stylist In Saskatoon before adventuring to San Francisco and Los Angeles. Harold eventually moved to Victoria and spent many happy years "Styling the Stars of James Bay". One of Harold's greatest pleasures in life was to visit his treasured friends in Mexico, a country he enjoyed so much. Harold will be greatly missed by his many faithful clients and friends. He will be remembered for his caring, kindness and his sharp sense of humour. A Celebration of Life Tea will be held November 16th at the James Bay New Horizons Center from 1:00 until 3:30. There will also be a gathering at the James Bay Inn Pub at 4:30PM for anyone wishing to toast to the memory of Harold.
