It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Howard Roland Bacon on February 20, 2026, at the age of 84.
He will be lovingly remembered by his children, Jennifer (Corey), Nancy, and Steven (Erika); his grandchildren, Chantelle, Kyle, Amelia, Joshua, Jade, Keziah, and Lilliana; and his siblings, Hugh, Edith, and Elsa.
He was known for his incredible knowledge across countless subjects, his sharp humour, and his unwavering tenacity. Whether in conversation, storytelling, or quiet reflection, he carried a depth of understanding and a strength of spirit that left a lasting impression on those around him.
His presence, wit, and resilience will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
