Jacqueline Patrick

Jacqueline Mae Patrick (Belanger) passed away January 22nd at the Saanich Peninsula Hospital after a lengthy battle with cancer. Born in New Westminster to Jack and Pam Belanger, Jacqui attended New Westminster Secondary before starting her long career with the Bank of Montreal. Jacqui left New Westminster in 1978 to marry Andrew Patrick where lived together until Andys passing in 2005. Together, they loved their many trips to Hawaii and their time on the coast. Jacqui is survived by her mother Pam, sister Sharron (Terry), brother Curt (Heather), nieces & nephews Shawna (Don), Joelle (Grahame) and Lorne, and great nieces and nephews, Olivia, Hayden & Lexi. In August of 2012, Jacqui moved back to the coast to be with her family taking up residence in Sidney before the disease that she fought so gallantly took her life. We cannot begin to thank the nurses, Beverly, BethAnn, Maggie, Leanna, Anne, Erin & Charlene, Counselor Leanne, Dr. Norgrove and the volunteers at Saanich Peninsula Hospital. You are all very special people. At Jacquis request, there will be no service. Jake will be joining Andy and her Dad in their favorite destination in the Gulf Islands.
