James Douglas O'Keefe

James Douglas "Jim" O'Keefe was a caring husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. He passed away on October 3, 2024, at the age of 73, after his long courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. Despite the pain and challenges, Jim's determination to live fully each day shone through, travelling to far away countries and driving his favorite car, Snoop, on road trips with his wife Maria by his side.

Jim loved spending time in his workshop, creating custom kitchen cabinets for his clients. He did not have business advertisements, only word of mouth from clients who were the testaments of his work ethics and quality of work. Jim was a skilled golf, football and bowling player when he was a young man. He liked spending his afternoons meeting friends over coffee. He was a big fan of football and hockey as well as a classic car enthusiast.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Maria O'Keefe; his son, Ryan O'Keefe; his daughter, Laurel McNiven and his grandkids, Connor, Abby, Ella and Parker.

A viewing and cremation service is scheduled for 1 pm on October 8, 2024, at 4392 Westshore Parkway, Victoria.
