She was an accomplished professional in the fields of Psychology and Neuroscience, and her passion for understanding the human mind led her to manage the lab at the Centre for Infant Cognition at the University of British Columbia. Her contributions to the field were invaluable, and her dedication to her work inspired those around her.

Beyond her professional achievements, Janine was a devoted mother to her two daughters, Gloria and Dottie. The funeral service to honor Janine's life will be held at Royal Oak Burial Park at 11 AM on Wednesday, March 27, 2024. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to Doctors Without Borders in Janine's memory. This charitable gesture reflects Janine's compassionate spirit and her desire to make a positive impact on the world.
