Jason "Jay" Haus

August 24, 1981 — July 15, 2024

● Jay Haus aka Jason Ryan Giebelhaus born on Monday August 24,1981 with all our hopes and dreams of your life with us. He was our happy go lucky guy. Jay enjoyed playing sports hockey from age 5 to adult, as well as baseball, basketball and racquet ball. In high school you excelled in auto body, it became a passion and business, fixing and selling and of course driving your hot rods. Jay went into many other business ventures but his favorite was always buying and selling right til his last days. Jay was a kind hearted gentle soul and would give the shirt off his back- was generous to a fault when he could be. He looked at life and made the best of the situation, did not want others to be worried or concerned for him and held no judgements. Jay loved the theatrics of holiday seasons such as Halloween clowns or scary masks and a good scare and prank. Wearing Santa hats as well-he was a big kid at heart and enjoyed celebrating. Jay had karisma and attracted people of all ages and walks of life he had the gift of the gab and was always kind and thoughtful. From a young age Jay always had a love for watches, tattoos a body and arm full and all the finer things in life. And of course a girl on his arm from daycare days and high school sweetheart Sherrie who he had his first child Katelin. Then Jay's last love Jenn B with their house of J’s -son Jace and daughter Jayla. Sadly his dreams to be there for them are now broken hearts with your sudden passing on July 15, 2024. A message Jay sent out was (Even though I'm not here I’ll always have you in my thoughts- a song out of the blue).And with saddest hearts to mourn you, your mom Val and dad Dale and sisters Freya and Michelle along with their spouses and children. Uncle Gerrie whom you always held a special place in your heart. You also leave to mourn your Grandmother and Aunts and Uncles cousins as well as

his numerous friends and supporters.

● In his last year's art was his new passion he had some quirky pieces, but an abstract piece stood out and as I hung it up on top of a plaque and this message appeared;

“For the living and the departed”

● Even though Jay had daily battles he would still help others, waking them to make sure they were alive and carried a naloxone kit in case it was needed to help keep a person alive. He also cleaned the streets of harmful paraphernalia so people in the community would be safe.

● This was a lost battle of addictions for Jay and all the other souls inflicted by this misery that keeps morphing throughout the world.

I'm sure Jay was greeted by family and friends who predeceased him.

I take solace in knowing Jay is free and healed.

The signs Jay brings cheer us up and bring a smile to our faces.

Love you forever til we meet again!
