Jean Baird

Born May 19, 1938, Simcoe, Ontario, to Alexander Dunlop Davidson and Ada May (Wyatt) Davidson. Raised in Hamilton, Ontario until moving to Victoria, BC in 1977. Predeceased by 1st husband, John Matheson Murray, who died March 5, 1976 at Hamilton, Ontario. Married March 8, 1958 to March 5, 1976. Predeceased by 2nd husband, David Hugh Baird, who died March 18, 2008 at Victoria, BC. Married September 26, 1980 to March 18, 2008. Predeceased by 5 brothers, Alex, Bob, Warren, Stewart and Walter of Ontario. Survived by: 2 step-sons, Brian Baird of CA and Ian Baird of Vancouver, 11 nieces and nephews of Ontario and 1 nephew, Nanaimo, BC, and numerous grand and great grand nieces and nephews in Ontario. No service by request with cremation and remains to join David at St. Michaels and All Angels Church graveyard Plot E-09. Jean spent much of her working life involved in business in Hamilton, Oregon and Victoria. Member of St. Michaels and All Angels Anglican Church, she enjoyed several bridge groups, travelling, many dear friends, and her pet dogs over the years.
