Joan Evans

Joan Evans, formerly Joan McIntyre, maiden name Lunn, passed away quietly on September 18, 2025. Joan, born in Hamilton, Ontario, grew up on Tragina St with siblings Irene and Muriel. Joan married Bob McIntyre raised their family, predominantly on E32nd Street in Hamilton. Joan later married Ian Evans. Joan became a High School teacher, teaching business & computer in the late 70s to late 90s. Ian and Joan rebuilt Ian's family vacation home, where they retired to South Hampton, Ontario in the early 2000's. Ian & Joan relocated to Victoria in 2013 to enjoy the West Coast and the company of Joan's sons. Joan is survived by Ian Evans, stepsons Robert & David and her children Susan, Robert & Doug.
