John Bernard Knight

John passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with brain cancer. John was in palliative care in hospice where he was treated with love and compassionately tender care. He was born in Warrington, England.
John loved life and his endeavours included scuba diving, barbershop singing and jumping out of planes 10 thousand feet down. He loved solving problems and trying out new adventures. Predeceased by his father Richard and mother Mary. John is survived by his loving wife Heather, daughter Kathren, son David John, Danny Foran (Lea), David Foran (Kelly). His grandchildren Michel Terrio, Shaelyn Gussman, Tyler Tourond. John is survived by his sister Mary (Ray) Thompson, nephews Paul (Christine) Thompson, Mark (Wayne) Thompson and also nieces Freya and Zoe Thompson, also Carol Lawrence (sister to Heather). John's career entailed Thames Board Mills, England British Merchant Navy, Millwright/Steel Fitter Harmac. BC Ferries, Salt Spring, Auxiliary Plant Operator BC Hydro Chemainus, BC Hydro Gas Plant, Centra Gas Victoria.
