PARKER, John Edward August 4th, 1950 September 20th, 2014 Everyones beloved Johnnie passed away suddenly but peacefully -surrounded by his wife of 42 years Felicity and five children, Geoff, Anthony, Olivia, Victoria & Jonathan on Saturday September 20, 2014. We want Dad to be remembered for his larger than life personality, quick wit and incredible sense of humour. He was always the life of the party and had everyone around him in stitches with his 'stories and adventures'. John was an ancient cosmic rocker who was born and raised during the British music revolution. He loved to play his music too loud, be a bit cheeky when having to follow rules and loved life to the fullest daily! Dad loved to cook, loved to fish & loved roaming expensive car dealerships dreaming of that 'one day' purchase... Speaking of cars, he had an uncanny talent and fondness for naming cars. Every name he came up with for any car was oddly appropriate and incredibly funny. He enjoyed visiting all his favourite restaurants, bistros & pubs running into friends old and new. He was SO proud of his kids and constantly told us he was... He would always say, 'I may not be a millionaire and I never built the Eiffel Tower, but I have five great kids and eight beautiful Grandchildren. Now thats rich.' He was an incredible man with incredible dreams, everyone who had the pleasure of meeting him was instantly whisked off on one of his adventureshis stories made you laugh until your stomach ached even if youd heard them over a dozen times, they never got old. He will be sorely missed by many, but never forgotten. On behalf of our Mum Felicity and his children, we would like to thank you for your love and support.
