Judy Harju

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Judy Harju, aged 77. She passed peacefully on Sunday, March 26, 2023 in hospital, surrounded by family. The family would like to acknowledge the amazing staff at Victoria General Hospital and the Jesken Aerie for taking such good care of her.

Judy was born in Neepawa, Manitoba and moved to Victoria where she spent the remainder of her years. Judy enjoyed parties, bowling, bingo, garage sales, shopping, travel, gardening, going to movies and most importantly, spending time with family and friends, of which she had many. She had a great sense of humor, loved to laugh and make those around her laugh. Her smile could light up a room.

Judy is predeceased by her loving husband John, sisters Dianne & Jenny and brother Jimmy. She is survived by her sister Joey, two loving daughters, Debbie (Chris) and Penny, brothers Gary and Dennis, grandchildren, Cassie, Gerry, Cody, Bailey (Tristan) and Brandon (Kassie) & great grandchildren, Hayden, Kobe, Brody, Izzy & Savannah and several nieces and nephews.

To all who loved her and were loved by her, she will be greatly missed.
